Adam Sandler has set a Hollywood record – one that NOBODY will ever want
to challenge. He’s been nominated for 11 Golden Raspberry awards! The
Razzies are awarded each year to the WORST movies Hollywood has to
offer. Sandler was singled out for his acting, writing, and producing
duties in “Just Go With It”, “Jack and Jill”, and “Bucky Larson: Born To
Be A Star”.

Silence Is Golden
In Hollywood, SILENCE was celebrated. I’ve always said that Talkies were just a fad! “The Artist” was the big winner scooping Best Picture, Best Actor for Jean Dujardin, and Best Director for Michel Hazanavicius. Meryl Streep shocked most viewers by taking in the Best Actress trophy for “The Iron Lady”, over “The Help” favorite Viola Davis.

TV Has Gone To The Dogs
A San Diego broadcaster has launched a 24-hour television channel that caters specifically to DOGS. It goes by the name DOG-TV, and the viewing experience is geared exclusively at our canine companions. Among other things, it features video of wildlife, other dogs, insects, and bubbling water. The audio is at a comfortable range for doggie ears, and the video is specifically coloured to accommodate their eyesight.

Bad News In The Mail
35,000 American postal worker jobs have been put on the chopping block, after the US Postal Service announced plans to merge or shut down 223 mail processing plants across the country. The move will take place in late May or June and will supposedly save $2.1 billion . The Postal Service is aiming to save $20 billion over the next three years.
